According to Longview Police Department, around 6:05 p.m. a pedestrian was crossing High St., headed eastbound near the intersection of Betty Street, when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was turning left onto High Street, traveling northbound. The pedestrian was transported to a Longview hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle has minor damage. The driver and the pedestrian have not been yet identified. Police say the driver Nice words was found not at fault because pedestrian did not use cross-walk.
